Resto-Mod

1967 Pontiac Le Mans Resto-Mod – Award-Winning, Show-Ready Muscle

This beautifully restored 1967 Pontiac Le Mans is a true head-turning resto-mod with no detail overlooked and thousands of dollars invested—supported by extensive receipts and documentation. This car runs and drives as good as it looks, thanks to a professional build and performance-minded upgrades throughout. Originally restored to show standards, this Le Mans was a Detroit AutoRama winner in 2016 and includes photos from its pre-restoration state for provenance.

Exterior & Interior:
Finished in a stunning Marina Blue base coat/clear coat, the exterior gleams under the sun and is complemented by restored and re-chromed front and rear bumpers, new chrome door handles, wheel well moldings, and rocket panel moldings. A GTO grille upgrade with GTO parking lights and lenses enhances the aggressive stance.
Inside, you'll find a completely re-upholstered black leather interior, new carpeting, a fully restored dash with new wood grain bezel, and a Grant custom wood grain steering wheel with Pontiac emblem. Comfort and style meet with Kenwood Bluetooth audio, Sony 6x9" speakers in the rear deck, and custom Autosound 6.5" speakers in the kick panels. All new door rubber, window channel felts, handles, and cranks complete the fresh interior feel.

Powertrain:
Under the hood is a United Racing Engines-built 383 stroker V8 producing over 510 horsepower, based on a completely rebuilt Chevy 350 engine. It’s paired with a professionally rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit by Zolman’s Performance of Olympia, WA. Power is delivered to a rebuilt 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, making this car as fast as it is beautiful.

Suspension & Braking:
The suspension is entirely refreshed, including new tie rods (inner and outer), center link, idler arm, pitman arm, upper/lower ball joints, bushings, and steering box. It rides on new front and rear shocks, with air shocks in the rear for adjustable stance. Stopping power is modernized with new front drilled and slotted brakes, rear drums, new pads, wheel cylinders, bearings, brake lines, and a new master cylinder.

Cooling & Electrical:
A new aluminum radiator with electric fans keeps the engine cool, while all new wiring harnesses throughout (including dash, engine, front lights, rear lights, and intermediate harnesses) provide modern reliability and ease of maintenance.

Wheels & More:
It sits on period-perfect American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels – 16x7 front and 16x8 rear – giving it the perfect resto-mod stance. A rebuilt steering column, new fuel tank, body mount bushings, and countless other refinements round out this no-expense-spared build.
